08 Apr 09 Take Off Co-ordinate: Widgery
Landing Co-ordinate: Sourton
Distance Claimed: 5.1

Flight Report: Caught a very punchy thermal from widgery, rode it as far as i could, then went on to find 4 or so more each of which slapped me around quite a lot while giving me no more than 200 ft, finally landed at sourton, which was not at all bad considering how late in the day it was! None of your namby pamby coastal ridge run guff.

 09 July 09 Take Off Co-ordinate: Sourton
Landing Co-ordinate: Near Marldon
Distance Claimed: 42.2
Type of XC: open xc

Flight Report: Arrived at Sourton with Mark 'the dude' Canvin thinking it was going to be too strong, but actually it was quite nice. Launched straight into a thermal, worked for a few hundred feet, left that one to wait for Mark, caught another one five minutes later and took it straight to base (around 5K). Another thermal from Fir tor took me back to base. Heavy sink nearly ended the flight near belliver tor, but another thermal saw me climb back half way to base, and i struggled to get any higher after this despite numerous thermals. Eventually landed just short of Marldon. Huge thanks to Robin and Mark for the retrieve.

Landing Co-ordinate: long plantation beardown
Distance Claimed: 6.8
Type of XC: open xc

Flight Report: Left Cox tor at 5.45 pm, never reached base but managed to remain in lifty air for a long time till i had to land a bit before beardown at 6pm. A quick retrieve by the dude allowed me to get back to look after the kids while the missus went out. Thanks mate!!

17 Oct 09 Take Off Co-ordinate: king tor
Landing Co-ordinate: Bear down Lodge
Distance Claimed: 12.9
Type of XC: open xc

Flight Report: Dougie, Miles and Alan were climbing out as i took off, tried a number of different climbs away from the hill, slowly worked my way up. After about 8km, i finally found a decent climb to take me to base. By this point the sky was very overcast so turned towards beardown which was in the sun but unfortunately no thermals. Met Dougie, Alan and Miles at two bridges for a well earned pint! track log here http://www.paraglidingforum.com/leonardo/flight/279643
