Thermals from this site allow a flight back to Corn Ridge.

Rigging
Good

Take Off
It is only necessary to use the higher take off in light winds. The lower take off is less rocky

Top Landing
Needs to be well back to avoid any rotor from the large rocks

Bottom landing
Cross wind landing in area clear of bracken beside wall, or back to Prewley car park.

Beware of power lines close to the treatment works, they have been hit before

Hazards
Boulders everywhere, can be hidden in bracken at bottom landing area.

Local Flying
Good in correct wind strengths. Not a place to be scratching. 

XC Flying
Excellent potential. But read the Safety Warnings if crossing Dartmoor

From A30 leave at Sourton services Interchange and take the A386 Tavistock road. Prewley water treatment works access is 300 meters South of the slip road, the second on the left.
Walk is  approximately 1 mile.

Parking
At the entrance to the Water treatment works.
Do not block this entrance road, or the farmers access to the moor.
