Excellent North facing bowl which is soarable in lighter winds.  

Rigging
Plenty of sloping area to lay out.

Take Off
Good, but beware the sunken paths cut across the hill when handling and running.

Top Landing
Good, but beware of rocks.

Bottom landing
Good large and flat.

Hazards
Army Firing Ranges behind site. Steep gulleys, rocks and reservoir. Beware of the power lines and sloping ground if landing at the parking area. Do not land in Nature Conservency areas, see "Flying on Dartmoor".

From A30 leave at Sourton services Interchange and take the A386 Tavistock road.

Prewley water treatment works access is 300 meters South of the slip road, the second on the left.
Walk in a South Easterly direction, avoiding the bogs and wet ground.

Maintain your height after leaving the wall and cross the valley near the top to reduce your climb around the rim of the bowl.
This is a long walk up to take off, approximately 1.5 miles.  

Parking
At the entrance to the Water treatment works.
Do not block this entrance road, or the farmers access to the moor.
